To enhance privacy and encourage more authentic sharing, users will only be able to view moments they have been invited to. As a result, content shared within a moment will be visible exclusively to those involved in that particular moment. This creates a more private and secure environment where users can freely contribute content without concerns of exposure to others outside the moment. We believe this structure empowers users to share and create memories more comfortably, knowing that their contributions will remain within a trusted circle.

1. Information we collect
We collect the following types of information:
a. Information you provide to us:
• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, username, profile picture, and password.
• Content you upload: This includes photos, videos, text, and other materials you share when creating or participating in a “moment” or other parts of our Service.
• Camera access: With your permission, we access your device’s camera to allow you to capture and upload photos and videos directly to moments. This functionality is essential for creating and contributing to Moments within the app. Without access to the camera, users would not be able to fully participate in building moments, which would significantly limit the core experience of the app.
b. Information automatically collected:
• Usage data: We collect information about your interactions with our platform, such as the features you use, the content you view, and the time and date of your activity.
• Device information: We collect information about the device you use to access our service, including IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
• Location data: With your explicit consent, we collect precise location data to provide you with the best possible experience when creating or contributing to moments. This information allows us to display your location on the map, enabling you to easily navigate to the moments and memories you are a part of. Location data is solely used to support core app functionality and is not shared externally.
c. Information from others:
• If invited to a moment, others may share content or information about you within that moment.

2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
• To provide and improve the service: To enable users to create, share, and preserve moments, and to ensure the platform operates smoothly.
• Personalization: To provide tailored recommendations and enhance your experience based on your interactions.
• Communication: To send you account-related messages, updates, and promotional materials (you can opt out of promotional communications).
• Security and fraud prevention: To protect our users and detect unauthorized activity.
• Compliance: To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.

3. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following ways:
a. With other users:
• Content shared within moments is visible to participants. Ensure that you are comfortable sharing before uploading content.
b. With service providers:
• We work with third-party providers who help us operate our platform, including but not limited to Google Firebase, Apps Flyer, Bunny Stream, AWS, Mixpanel and Google Maps. These services assist us with hosting, analytics, content streaming, cloud storage, and location services. These providers have their own privacy policies, and while we take care in selecting reliable partners, we do not have direct confidentiality agreements with them.
c. Legal requirements:
• We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or others.
d. Business transfers:
• In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new ownership.

4. Your choices
• Access and correction: You can update your account information through your profile settings.
• Data deletion: You can request to delete your account and associated data directly through the app’s settings. Simply navigate to the account deletion option in the app to initiate the process. Note that some information may be retained to comply with legal obligations or for legitimate business purposes.
• Opt-out: You can opt out of marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails.

We value your trust and are committed to protecting your personal information. While we strive to use appropriate and reliable methods to safeguard your data, no system can guarantee absolute security.
